  • Who is Panthera Finance?

    Panthera Finance is one of Australia’s largest debt acquisition and debt collection companies. This means we purchase debts from banks, phone and internet providers, power companies and other credit providers. Purchasing a debt means the ownership, and legal right and interest of the debt, is transferred to Panthera. We then work directly with individuals to manage and pay back the debt.

  • Why are you contacting me?

    Panthera own an overdue account that you held with a service or credit provider. We’re contacting you to collect payment on this overdue account. We are not collecting payments on behalf of your original provider as we own the overdue account and the outstanding amount is owed to us.

  • How do you own my account?

    You had an account that went overdue with a company such as a bank, phone or internet provider, power company, or other credit provider. After several unsuccessful attempts to collect payments from you, your service or credit provider put your account up for sale. This is common practice in the industry and Panthera Finance purchased your overdue account. This means your account is no longer owned by the company you signed up with and the outstanding amount is now owed to Panthera Finance.

  • Do I have to pay it immediately?

    No, good news – you don’t have to pay immediately! You just need to contact us so we can work with you to figure out what payment option works best for you and your circumstances. You can set up a payment plan to pay off the amount in smaller instalments and you don’t have to start straight away.

  • How do I manage my account?

    The best way to mange your account is through our online portal at pantherafinance.com.au. All your account information is there and you’re also able to access other helpful resources. If you prefer another way of managing your account, you can also chat to us online at any time, call us on 1300 722 974 or send us an email at manager@pantherafinance.com.au.

  • What if I have questions or can’t pay right now?

    We’re here to help you on this journey, so if you have any questions or can’t pay, you can call us on 1300 722 974, live chat with us, or email us at manager@pantherafinance.com.au. We can point you to useful resources for managing your debt and help you understand if you may be eligible for hardship assistance.

  • What if I am impacted by COVID- 19?
